At Hudson Family Chiropractic, Physical Therapy, & Acupuncture, we have the ability to treat children, tweens and teens with sports and orthopedic conditions for ages 8 and above. We provide individualized, research-based therapy to each child and his or her family. There is always a focus on the overall well being and health of the child. Our therapist is devoted to the diagnosis, treatment, prevention and rehabilitation of injuries in the body’s musculoskeletal system. Children may suffer from conditions that range from bone and joint disorders to fractures, sprains or strains. Meeting with a physical therapist can help them find relief and the root cause of their problem or concern. Suzanne specializes in orthopedic injuries in children, exercise programs for children, strength training for young athletes, and youth injuries with sports-related rehabilitation.

Young athletes have special needs when it comes to the rehabilitation of their injuries. Many parents and coaches fail to recognize this when working with the young athlete and when not addressed, the athlete may be setting themselves up for further injury.
The young athlete cannot be treated or trained, no matter what there fitness and skill level, like an adult or a professional athlete. They have growth plates, bone-tendon and muscle structures, and stamina differences that need to be addressed properly.

Q: What is pediatric physical therapy?

It also supports children who need strength and mobility improvement after trauma or surgery.
Q: How is pediatric physical therapy different from adult physical therapy?
A: Pediatric physical therapy focuses on movement development, motor skill improvement, and functional independence in growing bodies, using techniques and exercises that are age-appropriate and fun for kids. Therapists also educate families to support progress outside the clinic.
Q: What should I expect during my child’s first pediatric PT visit?

I recently moved and needed to establish with a new chiropractor. John and Mike are happy to accept new patients. They listen to you and treat you based on your needs. How refreshing to find a dynamic duo who personalize your care!

Hudson Family Chiropractic is a long standing practice with roots in Hoboken, and real concern for their patients. I always feel great after an adjustment, and look forward to the next.

Exceptional customer service and Dr. Mike is amazing. I always feel welcome when I arrive and even feel better when I leave.

Hudson Family Chiropractic was my place for treatment when I lived in Hoboken for several years. Dr. Mike & Dr. John are both fantastic, easy going and great at what they do. Dr. Mike, who usually treated me, always listened and answered any questions that I had. He also treated me throughout my pregnancy, which was great. Everyone there is welcoming and friendly. I moved to the suburbs right before I had my son and I really miss these guys a lot. A wonderful family office. Highly recommend!!

I was nervous about going to a chiropractor since I’d never gone to one, but I tweaked a muscle in my lower back and needed help. My personal trainer recommended Dr. John Rotundo at Hudson Family Chiropractic and I’m SO GLAD I went. He explained everything he was going to do and look for, answered all of my questions, and had me feeling better after my first visit. I only needed 3 visits over the course of 2 weeks and I’m feeling 100% better and can get back to the gym! I highly recommend paying Dr. Rotundo a visit if you’re looking for a good chiropractor in the area. Super friendly, easy to get to, and easy to get an appointment.

I am a longtime patient of John and Mike and found their services to be professional, proficient, and effective. I can always count on getting an appointment in a reasonable time and getting in and out is fast. But recently, I needed the attention of a Physical Therapist, and that’s when they referred me to their therapist, Nicole.
My first meeting with Nicole was extremely pleasant and I was quickly impressed with her knowledge in her profession. She made me feel comfortable and she explained what was causing my pain and what her course of action would be. Within a few days, the pain had almost disappeared and I started for feel great. She continued to work with me and again, the appointments were around my schedule and we got to work and I was out the door never feeling rushed.
I want to personally thank the staff at Hudson Family Chiropractic, John and Mike for the work that they do and also Nicole for her skills in getting me back on my NEW bicycle.
Great job Guys.

Awesome 👏 felt immediate difference Staff great and friendly- thorough exam and treatment.

I was having really bad neck/back pain and called Hudson Family Chiropractic to make an appointment. They fit me in quickly and my appointment was beyond thorough. Dr. Bill took his time evaluating my pain, asking questions, and providing suggestions for my treatment. I very much enjoy coming here and am thankful for Dr. Bill and Dr. Mike’s professionalism 🙂

Every time I seem to hurt myself, the team at Hudson Family are always able to put me back together with the extra care that one dreams of but doesn’t always get in a medical office. For over 10+ years I have been going to the office and am grateful for them. Even when I moved out of state, I would make sure to come in for an adjustment when I was back in the area, or would plan a trip just to visit the office. I mean when a doctor is good, you do what you can to stick with them. I highly recommend this office – from the staff to the docs, everyone is exemplary.
