Meet the Team

Dr. John Rotundo is the founder of the practice and now Director of Physician Services. He, Dr. Michael Gazaleh, and Dr. William Magill have successfully treated thousands of Hoboken/Jersey City residents since establishing Hudson Family Chiropractic in 2000. They incorporate exercise, stretching, trigger point massage, physiotherapy, and gentle chiropractic manipulation into the overall treatment protocol. John, Mike, & Bill are all Hudson County residents.

The chiropractors do not use “cookie cutter” treatment plans. Each patient is treated according to his or her condition. Some patients require more extensive therapy while other patients require only a few visits. You will only receive the treatment needed and once your pain has dissipated, you will be released from care and advised to return only when needed.

Our physical therapist Christine Mullane has extensive experience in treating a wide variety of patients with orthopedic, and neurological conditions. Our therapist will use techniques that are designed to address a specific functional need of each patient. These dynamic activities must be part of an active treatment plan and be directed at a specific outcome. Dr. John Rotundo, DC

Dr John Rotundo Hoboken Chiropractor At the age of 17, after many positive experiences with chiropractic, Dr. Rotundo knew his career path. He graduated from the University of Bridgeport, Magna Cum Laude, as a Dana Scholar. He then attended New York Chiropractic College and graduated with a Doctorate of Chiropractic in 1994.

He began practicing immediately after graduation. Prior to opening HFC in 2000, Dr. Rotundo had five years experience in a multidisciplinary office where he worked in unison with medical doctors on a daily basis (orthopedists, neurologists, physiatrists, internists, osteopaths, and general practitioners).

Dr. Michael Gazaleh, DC

Michael Gazaleh graduated from Palmer College of Chiropractic in February of 2000. Following graduation, he was fortunate enough to find educational opportunities, associating himself with exceptional doctors in Pennsylvania, New Jersey and New York City.

With a strong understanding of the muscular system in active athletes, he opened his own practice in Manhattan in 2004. While enjoying practicing chiropractics, Michael continues to be very active himself. In June 2005 he started City Running Tours, which offers guided running tours of some of the great cities in the United States. Dr. Gazaleh joined HFC in early 2008.

Dr. Bill Magill, DC

Dr. Magill completed his undergraduate degree at Rutgers University and went on to graduate from Palmer College of Chiropractic (just like Dr. Mike). Bill has been around the practice for years, shadowing Dr. John and Dr. Mike while in college and then covering the practice as needed for the past several years prior becoming a regular part of our team.

Dr. Magill uses evidence-based treatment techniques and has a passion for helping people live an active, pain-free lifestyle. He keeps up to date with the latest research and has taken multiple post graduate training courses. After growing up playing a variety of sports, he went on to play football at the collegiate level which provided him with valuable experience on the training and rehabilitation of athletes. This experience allowed him to learn the most effective rehabilitation protocols to help fellow athletes get back in the game quickly, and safely. Dr. Magill continues to remain active in basketball leagues and is passionate about health and fitness. He is looking forward to serving the local community and helping improve his patient’s overall quality of life.

Christine Mullane, PT

Christine Mullane graduated in 2006 with a Masters of Science and Physical Therapy from Mercy College. She has worked in the NY/Manhattan and NJ markets for her entire career in both outpatient and hospital settings. Her experience includes working with patients that have neurological conditions, geriatrics, sports medicine, pre/post-natal and orthopedics. She specializes in manual therapy and has special interest in Pilates and movement in people across the life spectrum.

Christine has taken continuing education courses in different manual therapy techniques including joint mobilizations/manipulations, soft tissue mobilization and muscle energy. In addition, she has taken pre/post-natal courses, Makenzie treatment for the spine, and NAOIMT courses for the spine, hip, knee and shoulder.

After working in several outpatient practices, Christine believes in working with her patients holistically and offers personalized one-on-one care. She believes in listening to her patients and partnering with them to help them achieve their goals.

Dr. Natalie Lutz, DACM, LAc

Natalie Lutz, DACM, LAc is a board certified and NJ licensed acupuncturist. She attended Pacific College of Health and Sciences where she obtained her Doctorate of Acupuncture and Chinese Medicine. She also holds a Masters of Science in Traditional Oriental Medicine and a Bachelors of Arts from Villanova University.

Natalie became fascinated in the holistic approach to healing after having terrible gastrointestinal disturbance in college and it was acupuncture and herbal medicine that led her to recovery. Natalie pursued her degree in a medicine about which she is passionate so that she can help others to find the same relief and healing she found, while above all fostering a nurturing environment and being a positive force and impact in their lives. Natalie’s mission is to partner with her patients to help one feel like the best version of themself — body, mind and spirit.

While completing the rigorous 4-year graduate program at Pacific College, Natalie’s education included 3000 hours of coursework in both Eastern and Western medical sciences and public health as well as clinical hours. In clinic, Natalie treated a wide variety of patients and is passionate about helping those suffering from acute and chronic musculoskeletal pain, gastrointestinal disorders, women’s heath, wellness and fertility, dermatology and mental health. Since graduating she has worked in multiple clinics and is now excited to be practicing in the town that she lives in and loves…Hoboken!

Natalie provides general acupuncture and is happy to offer a subspecialty in women’s health and fertility.

Prior to working as an acupuncturist, Natalie worked as a holistic health coach and is certified in holistic health and nutrition from the Institute of Integrative Nutrition in New York City. When not in clinic, Natalie enjoys cooking, fitness and spending time with her husband and french bulldog puppy in Hoboken.

Kaya Warshawsky, ACSM Certified Personal Trainer & Stretch Therapist

Guided by a passion for movement and recovery, Kaya combines stretch therapy and fitness expertise to help her clients with reduced pain and improved mobility. With a background in the arts, she brings a unique creative approach to her practice that inspires mindfulness and body awareness. Kaya emphasizes the importance of stretching and mobility for improvement in everyday activities and fitness performance, blending creativity with technique to support a well-rounded approach to physical health.

After injuring my back weight lifting, and suffering pain for over 2 weeks I knew I needed professional help. I was fortunate enough to find Dr. Bill Magill of Hudson Family Chiropractic who was excellent. The combination of heat therapy, stretching, and a few adjustments alleviated the pain completely in 3 sessions. I appreciated the fact that he took additional time and didn’t suggest or execute risky adjustments to my neck as others have tried to do in the past. I hope he continues to practice in Hoboken for a long time, and this review builds his clientele as we need to keep him in Hoboken

Doc John sets the tone for a great experience at Hudson Family Chiropractic and truly adds the “family” feel to the office. Hudson Family Chiropractic was my place for treatment when I lived in Hoboken for several years. Dr. Mike & Dr. John are both fantastic, easy going and great at what they do.
