I was nervous about going to a chiropractor since I’d never gone to one, but I tweaked a muscle in my lower back and needed help. My personal trainer recommended Dr. John Rotundo at Hudson Family Chiropractic and I’m SO GLAD I went. He explained everything he was going to do and look for, answered all of my questions, and had me feeling better after my first visit. I only needed 3 visits over the course of 2 weeks and I’m feeling 100% better and can get back to the gym! I highly recommend paying Dr. Rotundo a visit if you’re looking for a good chiropractor in the area. Super friendly, easy to get to, and easy to get an appointment.

Dr. John Rotundo, practicing since 1994, and Dr. Michael Gazaleh, practicing since 2000, have successfully treated thousands of Hoboken/Jersey City residents since establishing Hudson Family Chiropractic in Hoboken in 2000. They incorporate exercise, stretching, trigger point massage, physiotherapy, and gentle chiropractic manipulation into the overall treatment protocol. They often can be found in the office before and after scheduled office hours. Dr. Rotundo and Dr. Gazaleh are both Hoboken residents.
The chiropractors do not use “cookie cutter” treatment plans. Each patient is treated according to his or her condition. Some patients require more extensive therapy while other patients require only a few visits. You will only receive the treatment needed and once your pain has dissipated, you will be released from care and advised to return only when needed.
Our physical therapist, Sejal Mair, PT, has extensive experience in treating a wide variety of patients with orthopedic and neurological conditions.
Sejal will use techniques that are designed to address a specific functional need of each patient. These dynamic activities must be part of an active treatment plan and be directed at a specific outcome. Please see our Physical Therapy page for more details about therapy and rehabilitation techniques and specific conditions that can be treated.

Meet Dr. John Rotundo
At the age of 17, after many positive experiences with chiropractic, Dr. Rotundo knew his career path. He graduated from the University of Bridgeport, Magna Cum Laude, as a Dana Scholar. He then attended New York Chiropractic College and graduated with a Doctorate of Chiropractic in 1994.
He began practicing immediately after graduation. Prior to opening HFC in 2000, Dr. Rotundo had five years experience in a multidisciplinary office where he worked in unison with medical doctors on a daily basis (orthopedists, neurologists, physiatrists, internists, osteopaths, and general practitioners).
While Dr. Rotundo feels strongly about his chosen profession and applies chiropractic care as needed, he is very comfortable referring his patients to the appropriate medical doctor if co-treatment is necessary.

Meet Dr. Michael Gazaleh
Michael Gazaleh graduated from Palmer College of Chiropractic in February of 2000. Following graduation, he was fortunate enough to find educational opportunities, associating himself with exceptional doctors in Pennsylvania, New Jersey and New York City.
With a strong understanding of the muscular system in active athletes, he opened his own practice in Manhattan in 2004. While enjoying practicing chiropractics, Michael continues to be very active himself. In June 2005 he started City Running Tours, which offers guided running tours of some of the great cities in the United States. Dr. Gazaleh joined HFC in early 2008.

Meet Dr. Bill Magill
Dr. Magill completed his undergraduate degree at Rutgers University and went on to graduate from Palmer College of Chiropractic (just like Dr. Mike). Bill has been around the practice for years, shadowing Dr. John and Dr. Mike while in college and then covering the practice as needed for the past several years prior becoming a regular part of our team.
Dr. Magill uses evidence-based treatment techniques and has a passion for helping people live an active, pain-free lifestyle. He keeps up to date with the latest research and has taken multiple post graduate training courses. After growing up playing a variety of sports, he went on to play football at the collegiate level which provided him with valuable experience on the training and rehabilitation of athletes. This experience allowed him to learn the most effective rehabilitation protocols to help fellow athletes get back in the game quickly, and safely. Dr. Magill continues to remain active in basketball leagues and is passionate about health and fitness. He is looking forward to serving the local community and helping improve his patient’s overall quality of life.
Dr. Magill’s additional certifications:
- Certified Strength and Conditioning Specialist (CSCS) through the National Strength and Conditioning Association.
- Graston Technique
Department of Transportation Certified Medical Examiner which allows him to perform DOT/CDL physical examinations.

Milee Park-Coleman L.Ac. MSTOM
Milee is a nationally board certified, state licensed acupuncturist and herbalist.
Milee is a seasoned acupuncturist who holds a Master of Science in Traditional Orinental Medicine from Pacific College of Oriental Medicine and has being practicing Acupuncture and Traditional Chinese herbal medicine since 2008. She continued her apprenticeship and studied under a Korean traditional medicine instructor. She has also studied and adopted some Japanese style of acupuncture. She has extensive experience in fertility, pain management, internal medicine and pediatrics.
Milee is also passionate about women’s health and fertility, which is a major healthcare issue in the fast-paced NYC metro region. She has worked with couples trying to get pregnant naturally as well as patients undergoing Assisted Reproductive Techniques such as IUI and IVF. She has successfully helped women with diminished ovarian reserve, advanced maternal age, PCOS, endometriosis, recurrent miscarriage and autoimmune conditions.
For fertility Milee tries to detect, and rectify the imbalance of individuals. She can shift the technique depending on body cycles, stage of body condition, and both mind/physical body status, as she tries to find the root of body imbalance based on Traditional Chinese medicine theory.
For pain management, Milee does not look to treat just the painful, affected area but sees the body as a whole. Her goal is to rectify the flow of blood and energy and find other areas of the body that could be affecting or causing the main issue as sometimes treating secondary areas helps with the primary area of discomfort.

Mansoo Kim, M.S, L.aC, D.P.T
Mansoo Kim, or simply “Kim”, started his career in healthcare as a physical therapist in South Korea in 2004. He continued to work as a PT after moving to the United States, and earned his doctorate in Physical Therapy in 2012.
While Kim saw the great benefits of PT, he wanted another tool in his belt to treat more complicated cases. Pursuing this idea, Kim became a licensed acupuncturist. Kim states ” I grew up in South Korea where acupuncture and herbs are the first method to treat acute conditions. Now, I sometimes practice an “east meets west” two method system and I have seen a synergetic effect for better results.”
Kim implements a combination of different techniques to care for his patients such as trigger point acupuncture, cupping, tuina, manual therapy, joint mobilization and therapeutic exercise. With his background in PT, his treatments go way beyond a standard acupuncture visit giving you “the best of both worlds”. That being said, patients who are seeking traditional acupuncture will get exactly what they desire.

I m professional ballroom dancer, so I had awful pain in my lower back when I came here first time. Now, after 3 month I feel much better.

John is wonderful! I have been going to chiropractors since I was young do to a back injury. John is the first chiropractor to address my problem areas with complete confidence and professionalism. Every time I leave this office I think why did I wait so long! Definitely getting on a regular monthly appointment!

I’ve been coming to Hudson Family Chiropractic for almost 3 years now. I’ve suffered from neck and bulged disc pain for years before coming here. I also used to suffer from headaches every day; however, Dr. John and Dr. Mike are miracle workers. I now barely get headaches anymore and my neck pain has eased drastically. I now have a quality of life without the pain and suffering I had before coming to Hudson Family Chiropractic. Thank you so much!

Doc John sets the tone for a great experience at Hudson Family Chiropractic and truly adds the “family” feel to the office. As someone who has been a proponent of chiropractic for the past twenty years, I have had the good fortune of seeing Doc John and Dr. Mike for nearly a decade. I maintain a very active physical regimen with sports and excercise playing a part of my entire week. There is no doubt that John and Mike’s efforts allow me to go that much harder throughout the week. Their practice features wonderful, professional and friendly folks and I enjoy seeing them each time I can. I fully recommend Hudson Family Chiropractic to those that need relief from strains, sprains or tweaks. Kudos to their team and thank you!

My favorite chiropractors ever! Educated me and also listened to me. I am a furniture maker and they helped me get back to work a few different times and also helped me maintain a healthy back when I wasn’t injured.

I am a longtime patient of John and Mike and found their services to be professional, proficient, and effective. I can always count on getting an appointment in a reasonable time and getting in and out is fast. But recently, I needed the attention of a Physical Therapist, and that’s when they referred me to their therapist, Nicole.
My first meeting with Nicole was extremely pleasant and I was quickly impressed with her knowledge in her profession. She made me feel comfortable and she explained what was causing my pain and what her course of action would be. Within a few days, the pain had almost disappeared and I started for feel great. She continued to work with me and again, the appointments were around my schedule and we got to work and I was out the door never feeling rushed.
I want to personally thank the staff at Hudson Family Chiropractic, John and Mike for the work that they do and also Nicole for her skills in getting me back on my NEW bicycle.
Great job Guys.

Hudson Family Chiropractic was my place for treatment when I lived in Hoboken for several years. Dr. Mike & Dr. John are both fantastic, easy going and great at what they do. Dr. Mike, who usually treated me, always listened and answered any questions that I had. He also treated me throughout my pregnancy, which was great. Everyone there is welcoming and friendly. I moved to the suburbs right before I had my son and I really miss these guys a lot. A wonderful family office. Highly recommend!!

I just finished physical therapy [pain in right knee] at Hudson Family Chiropractic and Physical Therapy and could not have asked for a better experience.
The center has worked wonders on me! When Nicole C. [PT] listened to my goals and history to determine the best workouts, she asked the right questions. She then analyzed the information to create the best plan, tailored for me. No cookie cutter approaches here.
Nicole is the best PT I could asked for. She gives you good exercises to work on and monitors you while you are doing exercises. As you progress, she adds on more to challenge you. Nicole gives you focused individual attention, using different techniques to treat your condition. Working with her has been an always pleasant personal experience.
The center is flexible with scheduling, always on time and had a very social, friendly atmosphere.
